talents in drawing

Art of the matter: Mystery of why some people are good at drawing and others aren't finally revealed
|

Drawing is often considered a gift you either have or – as many a frustrated artist will testify – don’t have.
In fact, say scientists, while some are born with natural talent, anyone can learn to draw well.
The only catch is that ‘like all difficult skills, one probably needs 10,000 hours of practice to become really proficient’.

Don't worry if you can't match Michelangelo - practice makes perfect, say researchers
Don't worry if you can't match Michelangelo - practice makes perfect, say researchers
Researchers at University College London believe those unable to draw are not seeing the world as it really is – and simply need to work on their visual skills.
They say our preconceptions often cloud the way we perceive objects, leading us to distort them when we put pencil to paper.
Good drawers have a more refined way of perceiving objects and putting them on the page.
Rebecca Chamberlain, a psychologist who led the research, said: ‘Most people probably don’t become proficient because they don’t practise enough, and also they are put off by early failure – “It doesn’t look anything like it”.’
Miss Chamberlain and her colleagues conducted experiments investigating the role of visual memory in drawing.
They believe skill results in part from an ability to remember simple relationships in an object such as an angle between two lines.

Good visual memory is key to producing a masterpiece, like this painting by Benjamin Williams Leader, on show at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

They also found people who could ignore an object’s surroundings and focus on detail were able to draw more accurately.
And those who were able to ignore their preconceptions and view objects with a fresh eye also created better sketches.
Miss Chamberlain said: ‘Surprisingly, it might be harder to draw something very familiar, such  as a face, than something very novel, about which one has no preconceptions.’
Those taking part in the experiment found their skills improved with time.
The findings were presented to a US conference in a paper written by Miss Chamberlain and her colleague Chris McManus.

그림과 같이 레지스트리 편집기(regedit.exe)를 실행한 후 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/i8042prt/Parameters 로 찾아 들어 간다.

How can i make IDE to AHCI in windows 8

I need to convert IDE to AHCI and how can i do that ?
Im using SATA 2.0

Your response is almost complete. It is missing one step. I tried this method from:

http://www.ithinkdiff.com/how-to-enable-ahci-in-windows-8-after-installation/

and it worked without a hitch.

Here is the complete article.

A lot of users have been messing around with AHCI after installing Windows 8. Some users have reported that they can’t get Windows 8 to install without disabling AHCI. Here at iTD, we haven’t faced any such issue though we have a quick fix for such a situation. It’s very easy to enable AHCI after installing Windows, although it isn’t visible to users as a simple switch on/off option.

What is AHCI and why should you care? AHCI ( Advanced Host Controller Interface ) offers native command queuing and hot plugging through SATA host controllers (Serial-ATA) for hard drives. In simpler terms, there’s no reason you shouldn’t use it.
So, how do you enable it? Do you have to reinstall Windows 8 again? No. You can enable it without losing any data.
Enabling AHCI in Windows 8 requires going through the registry ( yes, it’s still there! ) but it’s slightly different than how it was done in Windows Vista and Windows 7. You still have to modify a registry key but the key is different now. Follow the guide below to enable AHCI in but make sure that you’ve backed up your data as well as registry, just in case.
  1. Exit all applications
  2. Go to the start screen and type in regedit.
  3. If you see the UAC (User Account Control) dialogue box, just click continue.
  4. Locate the the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\storahci\
  5. Locate the Error Control entry which should have a value of 3. Right-click on the entry name, select Modify, change the value from 3 to 0 and click OK.
  6. Open the StartOverride folder(under storahci folder) and locate an entry named 0 with a value of 3. Change the value to 0 by following the procedure in step 5.
  7. Restart and enable AHCI in your system BIOS
Quick Alternate Method If you don’t feel safe playing with your registry like I don’t with a neighbor’s dog ( except that I can handle a messed up registry but not a messed up dog ), I suggest you download the registry file I’ve uploaded here. Just extract the .reg extension file from the compressed folder and run it and restart your computer. Do the obligatory AHCI switch on from your system BIOS and you’re good to go.
Disclaimer As usual, the author and owner of this website aren’t liable for any loss caused by the above guide. If your neighbor’s dog bites you, your computer blows up or hard drive refused to work, I hereby take no liability. Of course, if you say please, I’ll be more than happy to help. :)
Update: updated with some input from Lyrad Kcirhor, thanks!

but ya, not impressed w filipino beauty at all.
maybe because a lot of Westerners like dark & exotic looking (which includes a lot of Filipinos) but many Asians think that look is ugly, they prefer light skin and East Asian-looking. I think if people knew more about Cambodians then it would be higher in the poll. They're more dark & exotic looking than Filipinos.

filipina is sexually conservative

The faces look Filipino but only very few Filipinas do that kind of posing. Lacks the conservative nature of a Filipino.
Verdict: Mixed East-Asian and Caucasian

Iberians look similar to North Italians, French, and some British to me.
